Rob Temple

Rob started his career in wine as a retail manager for the largest wine store chain in UK in 1986. In 1990 he moved to Australia where he worked for two years in hotel marketing before moving to Hong Kong in 1993. He has held senior positions in wine distribution companies in Greater China and Singapore.

Most recently he managed the wine and spirit brand portfolio at ASC (Suntory) head office in Shanghai as the VP for Brand and Marketing, developing brand strategy for over RMB 1 billion sales in Greater China.

He has managed many significant global wines and spirits brands over the years, including Domaines Baron Rothschild (Lafite), Treasury Wine Estates, Constellation, Gaja, Banfi, Masi, Laurent Perrier, Montes - developing and executing multi-channel strategies for driving business development.

His passion for travel has taken him to most parts of Asia, and many wine regions of the World. Rob also writes a monthly wine column for the prestigious Hong Kong Club magazine.
